In the Netherlands there is an experiment going on to reduce the high speed limit on some urban motorways from 100 till 80 km/h. I wonder if such mesurements are also taken in Switzerland. And if they were taken: what are the results: Did it mitigate the noise and the air-pollution? Did it made the motorway safer? Had it an impact on the traffic flow?
If there is any documentation, feel free to post it, since I need some documents for writing a paper.

The A2 through Basel and the Ring Bern have also speedlimit 80. Is this also because of noise-reduction?
